Information Office Point I : Just 50m. in front of the church, in the village square, Vao, is Point I. It is staffed by a well-travelled Kunie, Marie-Jeanne, who, in addition to her own native language, speaks English, French, Italian, Czech and Polish.

Office hours are from
8-11.30am and 2-4pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday am.

• ISLE OF PINES - End of Lockdown Covid 19 

  After six weeks confinement, Isle of Pines is awakening from its imposed ‘slumber’.
Plane and ferry services from Noumea have begun again and little by little the island’s hotels are re-opening. Nataiwatch is open full time, while Kou-Bugny, Ouré Tera, Kuberka and the Meridien are partially opening, mainly for the weekends.

Check out both Air Caledonie (domestic) and the Betico ferry websites as well as those of the different hotels to see what specials they are offering.

Note: it’s compulsory to wear a face mask during travel from Noumea to Isle of Pines and back again.
