Le MERIDIEN

Oro Bay

Luxury Resort Hotel

The most luxurious resort on Isle of Pines, the Meridien harmonises with the luxuriant tropical setting of a cove of Oro Bay, on the east coast - ‘where the sun rises, where the moon rises’.

29 bungalow-suites each have their own private balcony, lounge, double bed with mosquito net and a sumptuous bathroom.
10 rooms, in a separate building, look out over the pool and beach. Television, telephone, video and ceiling fans are in each unit.

The style of architecture, in well-cared for gardens, creates an atmosphere of an entity, quite apart from the rest of the island.

The hotel’s restaurant, with tables inside and outside, also accepts casual bookings, subject to space. Lunch on Saturdays and Sundays is buffet style with grills and an exceptional array of desserts!
There’s often a Melanesian dance show on Tuesday evening. Outside visitors are welcome (subject to space) provided they book and dine afterwards.

Sumptuous beauty and well-being treatments are available at the new ‘Spa’ at Le Méridien hotel, Oro. The choices, for both men and women, range from aromatic massages, shiatsu and reflexology, to such exotic rituals as chocolate or honey body-wraps. Open to both hotel guests and others.
