An
enchanting camping site, near
the restaurant of the same name, in a coconut grove on
the waters edge at Oro Bay. Its not easy for
campers to get to Kou-Gny, but the effort is rewarding
- the peace and beauty here are the stuff of dreams !
Take
the road to Oro, then cross the tidal channel on foot
(water can be up to your ankles, knees or thighs, depending
on the tide). A small sign indicates Kou-Gny 300
metres through the bush.
Zimako
and his family provide cold showers, toilets, tables under
cover and meals, if you wish. |

This
park-like resort is close to Kanumera Bay - a picture
of various shades of turquoise, no matter what the
weather, dominated by a single, huge, coral rock and bordered
by another wonderful, white sand beach.

des Rouleaux, fits nicely into the style of eco-tourism.
Situated on the long, unspoilt, white sand beach of Roller
Bay, its just a short distance from the more frequented

and thatched-covered tables looking out to sea. As well,
there are fireplaces, a central dining area, showers and
